PlanIT Impact's architecture design and energy modeling software aims to reduce carbon impact and water use by removing barriers to efficiency and sustainability in building design. The application suite equips architects and designers with the data they need to design energy-efficient buildings and save operating costs. The suite of applications includes energy assessment tools, stormwater management planning, water usage solutions, and walkability and transit scores for a building's geographic location. PlanIT Impact equips building professionals with the data needed to design better-performing buildings and save operating costs.

The product allows users to input the building geometry, baseline code, and set an energy-use goal. The Energy Discovery Engine finds the best design strategies to meet the goal and allows users to see estimated energy savings of each design strategy, estimated costs to implement each strategy, and expected payback period and return on investment based on energy-use reduction.

Creative Capsule is PlanIT Impact's technology partner, providing Ul/UX design, software architecture and development of product features, for the application suite. We also designed and implemented application reporting features and oversaw all DevOps and AWS infrastructure management.
