The primary responsibility of this position will be in developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known Angular workflows. The person is responsible to ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. This person will communicate with internal staff working on different layers of the infrastructure.

This person is expected to be capable of taking a technical brief, make basic architecture recommendations and follow high quality standards while coding the front-end of applications in JavaScript, using the Angular framework. The candidate will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements into the application.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and build reusable Angular libraries, modules and components
• Convert UI designs into working responsive HTML layouts
• Debug, troubleshoot and solve technical issues
• Implement unit test cases for your code
• Should help peers with design and code reviews
• Collaborate and communicate well with other team members and stakeholders
• Ability to work with clients directly on technical issues
• Stay informed about industry best practices.
• Contribute and collaborate to knowledge sharing with other team members

The ideal candidate for the position should have the following skills and experience:

Technical Qualifications:

• Strong logic and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Angular 8+, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, LESS and HTML5
• Experience with the usage of NPM/Yarn
• Understanding of RESTful APIs
• Experience with Git
• Knowledge of implementing solutions using Redux in an Angular application, is an advantage

Education and Work Experience:

The candidate should have over 5 years of working experience in Angular. 

Background in CS, IT or related scientific discipline is preferred.
