GiSC
Founded with an awareness that producers need a partner in navigating the fast-growing world of agricultural technology, GiSC is a farmer-owned national data cooperative based in Lubbock, Texas. GiSC provides producers with digital data tools in strategic partnerships that maximize production and efficiency in their farming operations. This allows its member producers to aggregate and benchmark their operational data with other member producers to make better on-farm decisions year after year.
As GiSC's strategic development partner, Creative Capsule developed the cooperative's cloud-based mapping, analysis, and data storage products from the ground up. Using AWS, we built end-user web applications to help growers collect, store, and share farm and field-level information. And we leveraged third-party APIs to obtain data from power utilities to securely aggregate, anonymize, and share collective data, producing insights that help maximize grower's production and profitability.
