Central Exchange - Women's Lyceum

Women's Lyceum is an annual regional leadership conference championing women from diverse backgrounds organized by the Central Exchange. The Women's Lyceum web site allows women to learn about the annual event and program options that consist of several tracks, to read about the speakers, and to make an online registration. On the back end the administrative web interface informs the Central Exchange about the status of registrations, room capacity, and number of women registered for each conference track.

Challenge

The Central Exchange wanted an online interactive site that would provide information about the upcoming conference and process registrations online. The Central Exchange wanted the ability to make fast decisions about the event logistics by monitoring registrations via web-enabled reporting tools.

Solution - Women's Lyceum Website

By analyzing the needs of the client our project team designed a web application that allows women to easily glance through five program tracks, view additional information about more than 20 speakers, and register for one of the tracks or any portion of it online using a check or a credit card. The system allows the Central Exchange to monitor the registration process and alerts them when the registrations for a particular track are close to the room capacity. The monitoring tool allows the hosts to make fast decisions and to deliver a more successful event.
