Web Applications Developer – C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server

We are a fast growing company looking for creative thinkers to join our team. Selected individuals will be responsible for development and support of ASP.NET web-applications with SQL Server and/or Oracle. Candidates must be proficient in ASP.NET (with C#) and T-SQL with SQL Server 2000/2005/2008.

The responsibilities will include developing custom web applications, maintaining existing applications, designing relational databases and performing quality assurance testing. A four-year college degree is required, preferably in Computer Science. Past programming experience in a work setting is preferred. 2+ years of experience with .NET programming is preferred. The ideal candidate for this position would have the following skills, experience and achievements:

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of ASP.NET 2.0, 3.5, C# and SQL stored procedures required.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and ability to apply these concepts required.
• Experience with SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008 required.
• XML, Web Services and AJAX experience preferred.
• Experience with SQL Reporting Services and Integration Services preferred.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS 2.0 is a plus
• Experience with VBScript and ASP 3.0 is a plus.

Personal Skills:

• Ability to communicate technical aspects to people with non-IT background.
• Independent personality that can take initiative.
• Strong analytical skills: can read business requirements and design a solution.
• Ability to work in team environment.
• Strong work ethic, a professional attitude, and a desire to excel.
• Manage time and juggle competing deadlines.
• Familiarity with MS Office suite including Excel, Visio, MS Project.

Other Skills:

• Understand the US culture and geography.
• Be able to write and speak in English fluently.
• Be able to explain technical project details in English verbally and in writing.

Hiring Details:
